With 48 parish and town councils in the area, this review is an important opportunity to ensure that local governance remains effective, representative, and responsive to the needs of our community. The Council welcomes the chance to consider potential improvements, including warding arrangements, councillor numbers, and parish boundaries, and encourages residents to engage with the consultation process. AHPC is sorry to report the untimely passing of Pete Martin. An architect, he joined MKDC in the 1970s and was responsible for a number of housing schemes throughout the City in Great Linford, Downhead Park, Giffard Park and Great Holm amongst others. His most notable single building was the shop in Two Mile Ash with its joyful wooden sun in the gable ends, which Pete made himself and handed to the builders. Read More...
