Peter Blyth

Chair

Peter graduated from St. Andrews University with a B.Sc. honours in physics then worked for the Ministry of Defence.

In 1986 he moved to Two Mile Ash after starting a business specialising in lasers and fibreoptics.

Now retired his interests are in current affairs, playing the electric guitar and he is an active member of the Two Mile Ash Environmental Group. 

Anne Vine

Anne now retired from her position as Director of Children’s Services for a national educational charity and has worked in the childcare sector for over 30 years.

Anne has lived in Two Mile Ash since 1992. Anne is married and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.

Anne’s interests include, baking, sewing and enjoys crafting.

Anne has been a volunteer for the Parish Council for the past 2 years where she helps operate the parish-funded Coffee Morning where she shares her crafting skills.

Kevin Ryan

Vice Chair

Kevin has lived in Two Mile Ash since 2015, having lived in Milton Keynes since 1987. He is married with two grown up boys.

Kevin is a strong believer in maintaining sound financial practices and achieving value for money and is keen to promote the enhancement of the environment in Two Mile Ash while promoting community spirit within the parish.

Kevin's interests include football (previously a referee in local leagues), most sports and gardening.

Maria Manthorpe

Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer

Maria joined Abbey Hill Parish Council as Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer in March 2024 and currently also undertakes the same role for another Milton Keynes Parish. Maria has two young children and appreciates the flexibility that working for a Parish Council provides.

Prior to joining the world of Parish Clerking Maria worked in both the private and public sectors in Governance, Human Resources, Compliance and Legal - all of which have proven to be an excellent foundation for Clerking!
